I think in the past I might have overwhelmed my readers with presenting too many odd and cool gadgets at once, so today I will be only showing you one. You might look at this gadget and think “What the heck does that do” but you will be surprised to find you may just need this thing to help you out in your kitchen!

This odd little device is called a Cutting Board Plane and it is used to even out your over used wood cutting board. Think of it as a carpenter’s tool for chefs! You know that wood cutting board that you have, the one that has TONS of depressions, nicks and knife marks from years of use. You love that board and would hate to part ways with it. Well, with the help of this Cutting Board Plane you can bring your favorite cutting board back to life by “erasing” spots and grooves from the surface of the cutting board leaving it smooth and clean! Just like new!

I would put this cutting board plane in the category of kitchen gadgets you never knew you had to have, but you do have to have it!

If you are not lucky enough to own a nice wood cutting board here are a few you can pick up. They will change the way you think of cutting in the kitchen!

One FSW customer writes: “Solid high quality cutting board. I have never seen anything like this in retail stores. The usual commercial wooden boards I have purchased in the past last little more than a year. This may be a board that lasts a lifetime.”
