Halloween Cocktail

That spooky time of year is just around the corner. Customers of all ages are looking for great deals and fun treats as the weather grows colder and the days grow shorter. What is your restaurant or bar doing to celebrate Halloween this year? If you’re still stirring up the cauldron looking for ideas, we’ve searched and found some great recipes, promo ideas and just plain fun for you to try this Halloween in your business.

Halloween Themed Cocktails

First up, for the grown ups: This recipe for a Jack-O-Lantern cocktail from The Kitchn is sure to be a hit on your happy hour menu.

Family Friendly Halloween Treats

And for the family, take a cue from the pizza chain Papa Murphy’s and create a limited time offer for a jack-o-lantern pizza with creative dough shapes and pepperoni placement.

Host a Costume Contest in Your Bar or Restaurant

For restaurants or bars with a stage or large floor space consider hosting a costume contest.  Prizes can include gift cards to your business in various denominations, such as a free appetizer free drink or dinner for two.

Halloween-themed Entrees (for Grown-ups!)

Another great idea includes creating Halloween themed grown-up dishes, such as the black fettuccine with shrimp and butternut squash recipe from Serious Eats. Don’t let the opportunity to celebrate this fun and silly holiday with your customers pass by!  Your Halloween promotion can be as simple as a limited time recipe or as big as a costume party. Just remember to work with your budget and staffing abilities to make the most out your Halloween promotion.
